Stigma-free health services for people who use drugs. Ropes are tiny strands of different materials, bound together, more and more, getting thicker, intertwined, becoming stronger. There is a beginning and an end which can twist, knot, form a link, carry a heavy load, cut some slack or be stretched to the limit. The Rural Opioid Prevention Education and Support (ROPES) project is a federally and locally funded grant program using evidence-based practices to better serve people affected by Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and the disease of addiction. They offer a more efficient way of getting to another point. Bridges reduce isolation, enable help to be connected, and open up the opportunity for people to be helped. A bridge provides support and reach, increasing the range of options available. The Bridges to Rural Recovery (BRR) project is a federally funded grant program using evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for individuals at risk for addiction and/or co-occurring mental disorders, their families, and communities. Project Goals increase prevention activities to reduce behavioral health disorders and their negative outcomes. integration of behavioral health in rural primary care, hospitals, emergency rooms, and other settings. develop recovery-orientated systems of care in the eight-county area (total population 54,331) The eight-county area includes Barnes County, Dickey County, Foster County, LaMoure County, Logan County, McIntosh County, Stutsman County, and Wells County. There are structural and systems-level barriers that prevent rural residents from accessing quality, integrated behavioral health care services. Working across the spectrum of behavioral health , the Bridges to Rural Recovery project seeks to improve rural service delivery. The project’s overarching priority is to increase equitable access to and utilization of rural-centered prevention, treatment and recovery services for those affected by behavioral health conditions. Baby Safe Haven Maternal Child Health 701.845.8518 What is Baby Safe Haven? City-County Health District is an approved location for Baby Safe Haven. North Dakota’s Baby Safe Haven Law allows a parent or parent’s agent (another person with a parent’s consent), who feels they are unable to take care of their baby, to anonymously surrender the baby without being charged for abandonment. Baby Safe Haven Law protects parents who meet all 4 criteria: The baby is unharmed. The baby is under one year of age. The baby is left at an approved location. The baby is given to an on-duty staff member. Where are Baby Safe Haven Locations?
